    Wendell Willkie signed letter, Dated December 1, 1942.  This letter was sent to the Farber Family in 1942 to Philadelphia.
    The letter was written on watermarked stationary - Permanized Redemption Bond Rag Content.
    The envelope is post marked January 31, 1945   from the Union Trust Company of Pittsburgh.  Willkie was the 1940 Republican presidential candidate that lost against FDR.  At that time he received more votes than any other Republican presidential candidate.
